HDB Unveils Toa Payoh West Master Plan With More Than 6,000 Planned Homes

What HDB announced

HDB unveiled its master plan for Toa Payoh West on 31 October 2026. The area will be developed progressively over the coming decade, with more than 6,000 new homes planned, mostly public housing alongside some private housing.

Amenities will cluster around Caldecott MRT, including a planned mixed-use development with homes and a shopping mall. A Central Green Valley of parks and precinct greens is planned, with a tree-lined corridor linking Caldecott MRT and Lorong 1 Toa Payoh. A school is being studied.

The first BTO project, Toa Payoh Hillside, about 1,600 flats beside Caldecott MRT, is planned for the November 2026 exercise.
