What is lease duty? When you sign a tenancy agreement in Singapore, IRAS requires stamp duty to be paid on the document within 14 days of signing in Singapore, or within 30 days after receipt in Singapore for documents signed overseas. This applies to HDB, condo, landed, and commercial properties. The duty is based on the annual rent and lease term.
